Xander, een pientere en zachtaardige jongeman uit Nederland en de ambitieuze en vlijtige Rawan uit Israël. Zij kozen het romantische kasteel Duivenvoorde in Voorschoten om elkaar het ja-woord te geven. Klinkt als het begin van een goed verhaal á la grenzeloze liefde en dat is het ook. Xander en Rawan hebben elkaar ontmoet op de universiteit en hebben sindsdien elkaar nooit meer uit het oog verloren. Als metropolisten hebben zij al in verscheidene landen gewoond terwijl zij hun ambities en dromen najagen; en dat altijd samen. Als dat geen onbegrensde liefde is! Door de maatregelen werd hun bruiloft uitgesteld. Nadat dit een tweede keer leek te gebeuren besloten zij op de valreep toch hun trouwdag door te laten gaan; al dan niet in een kleinere en intiemere setting met hen die het dichts op hun hart lagen. Het vieren van de liefde vond plaats in het romantische kasteel Duivenvoorde.

How on earth does one go about choosing a wedding photographer? There are hundreds of them, they all have beautiful pictures on their website and they all have 5 star ratings. But we noticed something different about Huck: his pictures were 'real' and the couples in them actually seemed to be having fun! Encouraged by his clear website, we decided to schedule an introduction (virtually, as we live abroad). Huck was so friendly, genuinely interested and easy-going that we ended up talking for well over an hour! During the talks that followed, we felt Huck really took the time to think along with us and offered some creative ideas as we walked him through our schedule. His attention to detail was reassuring: he even pointed out where the sun would (hopefully) be on our wedding day, and how it would affect photos in different parts of the venue. On the big day, he was full of energy (don’t doubt those ninja skills) and he mixed effortlessly with our guests to get the most spontaneous shots. It certainly helped with our mixed crowd that he spoke (and joked!) fluently in English. The final photos are beautiful - when we look at our pictures, we’re that couple having fun, just as we’d hoped. Thank you, Huck, for giving us the best memories of our big day!
